What We Do
We support people navigating intense emotions, identity confusion, and relationship patterns shaped by trauma. Our clients want to feel understood rather than judged, to build a steadier sense of self, and to regulate their emotions and relationships. We also provide practical support with life domains like work, study, routines, and relationships, as well as life transitions such as parenting. We support carers and partners too. Many seek stability, confidence, and a sense of direction as they rebuild their lives. Others want to reconnect with meaning and create a life that feels authentic to who they are.
We specialise in supporting people living with BPD and complex trauma. Our lead therapist is in the final stages of completing her PhD in BPD, bringing both clinical and research experience, as well as lived experience.
In our sessions together, we offer: trauma counselling, narrative therapy, DBT, ACT, nature‑based therapy, creative modalities, and adult play‑based practices to support healing.
You may be feeling vulnerable, especially if you’ve been misunderstood, dismissed, or judged in the past. We recognise that traditional mental health systems have often caused harm. We focus on understanding your story and context, not reducing you to symptoms. Together, we make sense of what you’ve been through and support you to build a meaningful life.
What a typical plan might include
- Understanding your emotions and triggers in the context of your story.
- Processing difficult life experiences using narrative based approaches
- Building grounding and regulation strategies that feel realistic and sustainable
- Strengthening your sense of identity and self‑worth
- Improving communication and relationship patterns
- Developing routines, structure, and practical life skills
- Exploring creativity, nature‑based approaches, or sensory strategies when talking alone isn’t enough
- Supporting you through transitions such as parenting, study, work, or relationship changes
- Offering guidance for carers and partners to build understanding and connection
Individual Sessions
We offer individual sessions for people seeking support, clarity, and a grounded space to explore what matters most to them.
I’m based in Rosebud, with appointments available both in person and online.
Each session is 50 minutes.
You’re welcome to choose the format that feels most supportive and accessible for you:
- Walk‑and‑talk sessions in nature
- Office in Rosebud
- Telehealth via Zoom sessions for flexible, remote care
Appointments are flexible and can be a one‑off session, a short‑term, or ongoing support, depending on what you need at this point in your life.
Fees
- Fees are flexible and based on your current capacity, ranging from $140–$175 per session.
- This sliding scale supports accessibility while honouring the sustainability of the work. You’re invited to choose the fee that feels manageable for you.
What to Expect in a First Session
Our first session is a gentle beginning. It’s a space for us to get to know each other, build trust, and explore what feels important for you right now. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — we move at your pace.
During this session, we start to identify what you’re hoping for, what you’d like support with, and what feels meaningful to you. I offer guidance and coaching where helpful, while also listening closely to how you would like us to work together. Your preferences, values, and comfort shape the direction of our sessions.
This is a collaborative process, and the first session is simply the start of finding a way of working that feels supportive, respectful, and aligned with your needs.
