The Experiencing Occupation Project

The Experiencing Occupation Project is a free group experience starting in May 2025 to come alongside Myself and several people who have been monumental in my journey of understanding my self and the world.

The project is an experience that will encourage you to try new activities in your life to help you experience yourself and look at yourself different or from a fresh perspective.

These practices and exercises are those that have helped me, my clients, and research participants move towards healing and purpose. These practices are especially impactful for navigating life post-trauma or living with a Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) diagnosis.

Discover Practices That Empower You:

There will be four major themes/categories these are:

How does it work?

Each week we will share an activity/experience with you. These may be activities like going for a cold water swim, dancing in public to challenge our seves, connecting with nature through art or challenging false beliefs.

The experiences will be graded to provide the “just right challenge” so that you can hopefully participate in the experience.

How to Get Started:

  1. Invite Accountability: Ask a friend, colleague, or peer to join you—support is key!
  2. Join Us: You must complete the registration form below to get started! You can also connect through our Facebook group and newsletter.
  3. Get Equipped: Download and print the activity table from our group files. I will also email this to participants.
  4. Commit to the Journey.
  5. Take Action: Complete the suggested activity each week—or adapt it for your needs—and share your experience in the group.
  6. Reflect Together: If comfortable, share your insights with the group.

We kick off May 1st, 2025. Take the leap—the first step is often the hardest!

Looking forward to experiencing occupation with you!
